How could I argue with the company that invented large shoulder pads for space marines.

Some Peter Pig D6's to satisfy my Dice Fetish. I have 24 Lardy 'Pie and Ale' dice and couldn't sink so low as to buy standard D6's to go with them 8-} . I found I needed different coloured dice for CoC for different weapons within a squad, I could just roll them separately, but where's the fun in that? :-?

So needless to say I have 20 'Spitfire Blue' dice on the water.

I'm a sad bugger aren't I? @-)

Oh, and Westwinds EotD 'Brotherhood' to use with 'Fear & Faith'
She stands upon Southampton dock, with her handkerchief and her summer frock, clings to her wet body in the rain.
In quiet desperation, knuckles white upon the slippery reins, she bravely waves the boys 'Goodbye' again......

GGGGGRRRRRR!!!!!! <wa

Placed a biggish order with Great Escape Games - some more 'Dead Man's Hand' buildings and stuff - on Monday. Had an email on Tuesday to say that they'd been shipped (by City Link - AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!). I half expected they'd arrive today, but they didn't. Past experience with City Link suggests that sometimes they arrive the day after shipping, sometimes the day after that, and if not then, they're never seen again. <wa :(( <wa :((

It transpires that the package from Bill is his entire new release of AWI, which is about 300 heads and corresponding bodies. Wow. This is the most important AWI release for some years. Wow again.

My plastic bits and bobs arrived from these nice people http://www.modelbuilderssupply.com/index.php

Problem is, on the current schedule, the project they are for will get done around 2025, by which time I will have forgotten what I was planning to do.

I also got a couple of these:

Wasn't sure what I would use them for, just figured they looked neat. Then the other night I'm reading the Force on Force Classified spec ops scenario book and there's one set on an oil rig, for which they will be perfect!

Well, City Link came up trumps.

That little lot (bought with the proceeds of selling those two painted buildings, and a few unpainted figures), should keep me off the streets and out of trouble for a week or two. The guys at Great Escape even 'threw in' a resin 'dead guy', who looks nice and dead, and will provide 'local colour' (mostly blood-red I expect) for games.

Right, **** off and leave me alone, I've got a town to build. :P

So you've got 300 more AWI to assemble? :-O

(There is another AWI range, this time in 15/18mm, to be released in the future that I know about).

GB plastic dark age warriors
Some crusades stuff from Fireforge?

That's enough for a pick on a 1-6 dice throw isn't it but I want some other stuff .. err I mean I NEED some otherstuff not on that list yet

Maybe I should get out a 20 sided dice to help me choose :-?

You want the AB Russians because they're an expansion of an existing project, and therefore legit.

Ditto the MM Polish fellas.

So, you should buy those.

Of course, you always need something new to keep the oul' mojo going, so you should get everything else as well.

Pat

You are not being helpful, bit like one of your clients bemoaning the fact that his dealer is dead, and having the man defending him for murder one offer him some choice crack.

VB

There doesn't seem anything on that list that is totally OTT, perhaps you could get a few of each and flesh the rest out next Friday, and the extra things a week later.

There was an apparently well informed 'rumour' on TMP to that effect yesterday. The cat (or parrot rather) seems to have been let out of the bag....
